Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties

Provide care to:

Inpatients

Outpatients

Emergency cases

Assist in diagnosis, treatment, and procedures within your specialty
Training & Development

Participate in specialist training programs

Attend academic sessions and clinical teaching

Work under supervision of senior specialists
Research & Teaching

Conduct and contribute to research projects

Assist in training junior staff and students
Administration & Operations

Perform medical administrative duties

Participate in commuted overtime

Support hospital service delivery
Outreach

Provide outreach services where required
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Registration
-
MBChB degree (or equivalent)
-
Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent Practitioner
-
Valid HPCSA registration for 2026
Experience
-
At least 1 year post community service experience
-
Experience in a Free State hospital (preferred)
Other Requirements

Valid driver’s license
-
South African citizen or permanent resident
Knowledge & Skills

Additional qualifications (advantage):

Primaries, diplomas, or certificates in relevant field

ACLS, ATLS, APLS, BSS
