Job Description:
VKB Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Learner Grain Grader to join its silo operations team in Reitz. The successful candidate will oversee the grain sample-taking process and ensure accurate grading of grain in line with statutory and company procedures.
This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to grow within the agricultural sector and gain in-service training and development in grain grading.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and conduct grain grading processes according to statutory and VKB procedures

Administer grain intake and dispatch documentation

Maintain accurate administrative records related to grading activities

Assist with resolving grading-related queries and disputes

Successfully complete all compulsory grain-related training courses

Support logistical and operational processes at the silo
Minimum Requirements:
-
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
-
Experience in agriculture (advantageous)

Willingness to complete grain grading courses through in-service training
-
Computer literate with solid administrative skills

Clear criminal record
-
Traceable references
-
Strong commitment to learning and adding value through continuous improvement
