Job Overview
Eskom Rotek Industries is recruiting a Leader Site to oversee construction activities across various project sites. The successful candidate will provide leadership and management of all site resources, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role requires extensive experience in construction site management, with a strong focus on production, health and safety, quality, stakeholder engagement, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing all activities and resources on assigned construction sites.
- Leading and supervising site personnel to ensure effective performance.
- Managing production targets and operational efficiencies.
- Overseeing project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and project risks.
- Maintaining effective communication with employees, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards.
- Promoting continuous improvement in safety, quality, and operational performance.
- Monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Ensuring construction activities comply with company standards and legislative requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- A relevant Degree or Diploma in one of the following disciplines:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Construction Management
- Quantity Surveying
Please note: The qualification must be discipline-specific.
Advantageous Qualification
- Project Management qualification or certification.
Experience Required
Applicants should have:
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a Site Management role on Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical construction sites.

- Civil, electrical, or mechanical construction practices.
- Powerline construction and refurbishment.
- Financial management principles.
- South African labour legislation, including:
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act
- Labour Relations Act

- Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
