    FNB is seeking an experienced and strategic Channel Management Head to join its Private Banking and Advisory team in Bloemfontein. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving channel growth, achieving revenue targets, managing client portfolios, overseeing budgets, and leading high-performing teams to deliver exceptional client service.

    The successful candidate will have extensive experience in banking, wealth management, financial planning, and leadership, with a strong focus on relationship management, business growth, and strategic decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Achieving revenue targets by growing existing client portfolios and acquiring new clients.
    • Managing channel profitability by meeting Cost-to-Income objectives and controlling operational expenses.
    • Promoting a strong service culture focused on exceptional client experiences.
    • Building and maintaining productive relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
    • Collaborating with subject matter experts, project managers, and senior leadership.
    • Advising specialists on target management and performance improvement.
    • Participating in budget planning, forecasting, and presentations for the channel.
    • Maintaining expert knowledge of banking products, pricing structures, application processes, and turnaround times.
    • Driving channel performance to meet strategic business objectives.

    Minimum Requirements

    Applicants should possess:

    • A relevant NQF Level 8 qualification, such as:
      • Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning, or
      • BCom Honours in Investment Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
    • 8–10 years’ experience in:
      • Banking
      • Investment Management
      • Financial Planning
      • Wealth Management
      • Client Relationship Management
    • At least 4 years’ leadership or management experience.
    • FAIS Fit and Proper status.
    • RE5 qualification.
    • RE1 qualification will be advantageous.
