Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse, or
- A 4-year Nursing Diploma, or
- A Bachelor of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
The following will be advantageous:
- Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (such as Critical Care, Emergency Care, or Peri-operative Nursing) where applicable.

Required Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
- ACLS, ATLS, or PALS certification (for specialised units where applicable).
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong patient assessment skills.
- Knowledge of nursing processes and procedures.
- Ability to develop and update nursing care plans.
- Knowledge of pharmacology.
- Understanding of infection prevention and control.
- Accurate nursing record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of relevant nursing legislation.
- Risk identification and management skills.
- Sound understanding of scientific nursing principles.
