Role Purpose
To implement and manage an integrated Facilities Management (FM) solution for clients in alignment with the Service Level Agreement (SLA). The role ensures consistent delivery of FM services, operational excellence, compliance with safety and quality standards, and ongoing improvement of services provided.
Key Responsibilities
Drive and oversee integrated FM services and strategies for the client.
Ensure delivery of FM services according to the SLA.
Implement and maintain Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), Quality, and Risk Management systems in collaboration with the Contracts Manager.
Conduct daily audits to ensure service quality and compliance.
Review and sign off monthly Profit & Loss statements, providing variance explanations.
Identify service gaps and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Manage supplier and contractor SLAs; monitor performance and apply corrective measures when necessary.
Provide technical support and assist in managing FM-related projects.
Encourage adherence to maintenance processes and procedures.
Recommend innovative, cost-effective solutions based on industry best practices.
Ensure timely processing of invoices.
Submit monthly compliance and performance reports.
Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Supervise and manage staff performance, including conflict resolution and coaching.
Oversee staffing schedules, approve leave, and ensure proper shift coverage.
Facilitate staff development through training, mentoring, and capacity building.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Education:
National Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
Matric (Senior Certificate)
License:
Valid South African Driver’s License
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Facilities Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Property Management, and Financial Management.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Project (Intermediate level)
Knowledge of SAP (preferred)
Understanding of:
