Job Description
The Junior Network Manager is responsible for supporting the growth, management, and success of the healthcare provider network. The role focuses on customer service, stakeholder engagement, business development, fleet and asset management, operational administration, and promoting electronic healthcare solutions to doctors and healthcare partners.
The incumbent will build strong relationships with healthcare practitioners, ensure efficient resolution of customer queries, support operational compliance, and contribute to network growth by recruiting new doctors and increasing electronic prescription adoption.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service and Query Resolution
- Resolve customer complaints and queries efficiently.
- Ensure first-time resolution of customer issues where possible.
- Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Promote proper use of company systems and procedures.
- Prioritise and manage customer enquiries effectively.
2. Network Development and Business Growth
- Market and promote the doctor’s network to healthcare practitioners.
- Recruit new doctors into the network.
- Facilitate installations and onboarding of new practices.
- Drive growth in prescription volumes within the network.
- Promote electronic prescription (e-scripting) solutions.
- Convert potential business opportunities into active partnerships.
- Implement network growth and rollout strategies.
3. Stakeholder and Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with doctors and healthcare partners.
- Collaborate with network teams and departmental management.
- Participate in stakeholder communication forums and meetings.
- Liaise with healthcare providers to ensure successful implementation of network initiatives.
- Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders.
4. Fleet and Asset Management
- Conduct vehicle inspections.
- Monitor vehicle movement reports.
- Maintain accurate vehicle registers.
- Ensure vehicle servicing schedules are adhered to.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and compliance.
- Maintain equipment registers and records.
5. Human Resources and Administrative Management
- Manage attendance and timekeeping records.
- Administer employee leave records.
- Apply basic labour relations and HR procedures.
- Maintain office and facility housekeeping standards.
- Support adherence to company travel policies.
- Assist with operational administration and reporting.
6. Operational Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and organisational standards.
- Promote a culture of professionalism and customer service.
- Support project implementation and operational improvements.
7. Company Representation
- Represent the company professionally at all times.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Sign up 5 new doctors per month and complete installations.
- Achieve 10% growth in network scripts.
- Roll out electronic prescribing to 5 practices per month.
- Maintain a 20% electronic prescription conversion rate.
- Manage new and existing collection point rollout strategies.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and implementation initiatives.
- Attend monthly and quarterly stakeholder meetings where applicable.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Essential
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- National Diploma (3-year qualification) or higher in:
- Management, or
- Information Technology (IT)
Advantageous
- Qualification related to healthcare, pharmacy, or healthcare management.
Experience
