    Job Description

    We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Porter to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, assisting with luggage, and performing basic operational duties. A welcoming attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile are key to success in this role.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Greet and assist guests with luggage, packages, and other belongings

    • Engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner

    • Park and retrieve guests’ vehicles safely and efficiently

    • Support general operational duties including:

      • Setting up pool areas and loungers

      • Removing dishes and cleaning public areas

      • Assisting the Housekeeping and Front Desk teams

    • Promote and upsell hotel facilities and affiliated services

    • Provide timely assistance and information to guests when needed

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric Certificate (Grade 12)

    • Valid Driver’s License with PDP (Professional Driving Permit)

    • Physically fit and able to stand or move throughout the shift

    • Willing and able to work flexible hours, including:

      • Night shifts

      • Weekends

      • Public holidays

    Skills & Experience

    • Previous experience in a similar role (advantageous)

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional guest etiquette

    • Proactive and able to handle complaints efficiently

    • Willingness to support other departments as needed
