Job Purpose:
To operate gravure plastic printing machines with precision and efficiency while meeting quality, safety, and ISO standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent

Formal qualification in the printing trade
-
5+ years’ experience operating gravure plastic printing machines
-
Proficient with equipment including IoT-based controls

Computer literate: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint (or in-house systems)

Knowledge of:

Ink viscosity
-
Colour matching
-
Ink colour mixing
-

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Willing to work shifts and overtime when required

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate gravure printing machines as per job specifications

Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards (ISO framework)

Perform routine quality checks

Maintain production records accurately using in-house systems

Assist with preventative maintenance to ensure machine availability

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Collaborate with team members for smooth operations
-
Ensure final printed products meet customer specifications and quality expectations
