Job Description
VKB Retail is looking for a General Worker to perform a variety of general duties requiring minimal induction. The successful candidate will assist with maintaining the premises, handling stock, supporting customers and suppliers, and performing manual tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain general tidiness of the premises.
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Load and offload stock for customers and suppliers.
- Assist with stock control.
- Provide customer service and assistance.
- Perform general manual labour.
- Carry out ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Ensure the premises remain clean, organised and customer-ready.
- Contribute to the overall efficient functioning of the job.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4.
- Ability to perform physically demanding manual work.
- Experience or ability in loading and offloading stock.
- Understanding of stock control.
- Customer-service skills.
- Willingness to perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties.
