Tender Overview
Mantsopa Local Municipality is seeking quotations for the rental lease of one (01) wet bull-dozer for operational use at the Ladybrand Landfill Site for a period of 10 days.
The purpose of this procurement is to support municipal waste management operations, including landfill compaction and site maintenance.
The service provider must supply the equipment with an operator, including transport to site.
Tender Description
The successful bidder will be responsible for:
1. Equipment Supply
Provision of one (01) wet bull-dozer
Fully operational and mechanically sound
Suitable for landfill site operations
2. Rental Period
Duration: 10 days
Equipment must be available for operation during:
Weekdays
Weekends
Public holidays
3. Operator Requirement
Supply of a qualified operator/driver
Operator must be competent and experienced in landfill operations
Contractor responsible for operator-related costs
4. Transport & Delivery
Delivery of the bull-dozer to Ladybrand Landfill Site
All transport costs must be included in the quotation
Technical Requirements
The bull-dozer must:
Be a wet bull-dozer
Be supplied with an operator
Be capable of operating in landfill conditions
Be available throughout the 10-day period
Important Conditions:
No payment will be made for:
Standing time due to rain
Mechanical breakdowns
Bidder must clearly indicate delivery timeframe in quotation
Mandatory Compliance Requirements
Bidders must submit:
Completed MBD 4
Completed MBD 6.1
Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
CSD Report or certified copies of IDs
Municipal Rates and Taxes Account (not in arrears for more than 3 months)
Confirmation that no municipal service charges are overdue
Failure to submit required documents may result in disqualification.

Access to a functional wet bull-dozer
Experienced and competent operator
Capacity to deliver equipment within required timeframe
