Purpose of the Position:
To assist clients in buying, selling, and renting residential properties while providing excellent customer service, conducting property viewings, and negotiating successful sales and rental agreements. Agents will also be expected to stay informed about trends in the local property market.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct property viewings and open houses
Interact with potential buyers, sellers, and tenants
Negotiate and finalize sales or rental agreements
Maintain strong knowledge of local market conditions and listings
Provide ongoing support and communication to clients throughout the property transaction process
Maintain property records and client databases
Collaborate with the team to meet sales targets and grow the business
Minimum Requirements & Preferred Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience in residential real estate sales or rentals
Proven track record of successful property sales
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated with a proactive approach
Knowledge of the Bloemfontein property market is advantageous
Proficiency in property management tasks is beneficial
Certifications:
Valid real estate certification or licensure is preferred (e.g., EAAB/Fidelity Fund Certificate in South Africa
