Purpose of the Position:
To manage and supervise learners enrolled in Curro Choice subjects, ensuring optimal academic support, classroom discipline, and communication with parents, teachers, and tutors. The role involves both academic supervision and administrative responsibilities to ensure learners stay on track with their online/hybrid curriculum.
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric Certificate)

BEd Degree
-
Registered with SACE (Provisional or conditional registration accepted)

Experience as a Tutor or Teacher

Clear criminal record

Strong ability to motivate learners to explore and engage with new content

Passion for innovative education and digital learning tools

Familiarity with online learning platforms like Moodle

Tech-savvy, able to troubleshoot basic connectivity or device issues
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Management:
-
Supervise students during live lessons and tutorial periods
-
Ensure learners are actively engaged and connected to their online lessons
-
Manage the use and care of Curro Choice headsets
-
Monitor learner progress via Power BI dashboards and tutor reports
-
Handle learner discipline and escalate issues where necessary
-
Assist with test and assessment invigilation
-
Alert learners to deadlines, tasks, and assessment submissions
-
Log service desk tickets for technical or connectivity issues
Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate attendance registers
-
Provide feedback to parents and school management regarding learner progress
-
Print, distribute, and collect tests/assessments in line with the assessment schedule

Scan and email completed assessments to relevant subject teachers
-
Communicate regularly with Curro Choice tutors/teachers regarding learner performance
