Purpose of the Position:
To transport goods safely and efficiently while complying with traffic regulations, company policies, and safety standards. The driver must ensure timely delivery, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and represent the company professionally during all deliveries or collections.
Minimum Requirements:

Code 10 Driver’s License (C1)

Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)
-
Matric / Grade 12 certificate
-
3–5 years’ driving experience (preferably with delivery trucks or commercial vehicles)

Clear criminal record

Contactable references

Must be willing to work weekends as required

Experience in the steel industry is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
-
Operate and drive a Code 10 vehicle in compliance with all road and safety regulations

Load and unload goods safely and securely

Conduct daily vehicle inspections (pre- and post-trip)

Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods as scheduled

Report vehicle defects or incidents immediately

Complete and maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs

Assist with general duties in the warehouse or delivery site when not driving

Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and staff

Good knowledge of Bloemfontein and surrounding routes

Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Physically fit to handle loading/unloading duties
