Purpose of the Position:
To provide high-quality technical services in an optical lab, including lens cutting, eyewear assembly, repairs, and maintenance. The technician will support the delivery of premium optical products to clients and contribute to the operational efficiency of the lab.
Minimum Requirements:

3–5 years’ proven experience as an Optical Lab Technician

Practical knowledge of lens cutting and fitting

Proficiency in frame repairs: full frames, nylon fittings, rimless
-
Experience with tinting, adjustments, and basic frame customizations
-
Strong understanding of lens options, frame types, and optical product specifications
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Tech-savvy and familiar with optical software and lab tools
Key Responsibilities:

Lens Cutting & Fitting: Accurately cut, edge, and insert lenses into various frame types

Eyewear Repairs: Conduct high-quality repairs on frames, including rimless and semi-rimless styles

Frame Adjustments: Fit and adjust frames to suit individual client needs and comfort

Tinting: Perform lens tinting services as per customer or prescription requirements

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies when necessary

Customer Support: Ensure work meets quality standards to guarantee customer satisfaction

Trend Awareness: Keep up-to-date with advancements in optical lab technologies and materials

Collaborate with optometrists and optical staff to ensure smooth workflow and product delivery
