Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, accurate and timeous transportation and delivery of goods from the VKB Distribution Centre in Bethlehem.
The role requires a responsible and reliable driver who can manage deliveries, monitor stock during loading and offloading, maintain good client relationships and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver goods safely and on time.
- Minimise risks to the company during transportation and delivery.
- Report incidents and accidents to management timeously.
- Monitor the loading and offloading of stock.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in stock handling.
- Provide excellent client service.
- Complete relevant job-related administrative duties.
- Comply with company policies and safety procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4.
- Valid Code 14 driver’s licence with PDP.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the agricultural industry will be advantageous.
