    Company Overview:
    The Free State Provincial Treasury serves as the guardian of financial governance and integrity within the province. It supports departments and municipalities with financial planning, policy implementation, and performance oversight. As part of its modernization efforts, the department is focused on advancing digital transformation and institutional knowledge through robust information and knowledge management systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Knowledge Management Strategy for the department

    • Evaluate and optimize the information dissemination process for various user groups

    • Monitor, manage, and enhance the department’s knowledge portal

    • Facilitate and support learning networks within the Free State Provincial Treasury

    • Conduct research to align departmental knowledge practices with global trends and inform policy and strategy improvements

    • Manage the human resources within the Information and Knowledge Management Division

    Qualifications:

    • Relevant qualification at NQF Level 7 or higher in Information Technology

    • Five (5) years of experience in an information technology or knowledge management environment

    • Familiarity with key frameworks and systems including:

      • ISO/IEC 27002

      • ITIL

      • Treasury Regulations

      • Departmental policies

      • Visio and SharePoint platforms

    Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

    • Excellent computer literacy

    • Effective communication, reporting, and presentation skills

    Benefits:

    • Salary: R468,459 per annum (Level 09) – basic salary
