Position Overview
Eduvos is seeking qualified IT professionals and academics to join its Bloemfontein campus as part-time IT Lecturers. The successful candidates will lecture Information Technology modules, support student learning, prepare assessments, and contribute to academic quality assurance processes.
This role is suitable for individuals with strong technical knowledge in computer science, networking, cybersecurity, databases, programming, and data science, combined with an interest in higher education and student development.
Main Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
- Present lectures for Information Technology modules.
- Facilitate practical and theoretical learning activities.
- Deliver course content according to academic standards.
- Support student understanding through tutorials and consultations.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Assessment and Evaluation
- Develop assessments and examination materials.
- Mark assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain accurate assessment records.
Academic Administration
- Prepare lecture notes and learning resources.
- Upload and manage teaching materials.
- Maintain academic records and documentation.
- Participate in departmental administration activities.
Student Support
- Monitor student performance and attendance.
- Identify and support at-risk students.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship.
- Assist students with subject-related challenges.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure academic quality standards are maintained.
- Participate in curriculum improvement processes.
- Support institutional quality assurance requirements.
- Contribute to continuous programme enhancement.
Research and Academic Development
- Participate in academic research activities where required.
- Stay updated with developments in Information Technology.
- Maintain subject matter expertise in assigned modules.

Educational Qualification
Required

- 1–2 years of lecturing experience or relevant teaching experience
