    Job Description

    The Banking Advisor Wealth supports a team of Private Bankers in managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. The role focuses on client relationship management, sales support, portfolio analysis, lead generation, reporting, and identifying opportunities to increase business growth.

    The successful candidate will assist in providing financial solutions, maintaining strong client relationships, supporting sales activities, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to Private Wealth clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Portfolio Management

    • Assist in managing a portfolio of Private Wealth clients.
    • Conduct portfolio analysis and research.
    • Proactively engage with clients to identify opportunities.
    • Support relationship-building with existing and prospective clients.

    Sales & Business Development

    • Assist in acquiring new clients.
    • Generate and manage sales leads.
    • Identify opportunities to grow the customer base.
    • Support achievement of business growth targets.

    Customer Service

    • Provide professional service and recommendations.
    • Deliver solutions aligned with client needs.
    • Build long-term client relationships.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Administration & Reporting

    • Prepare reports and business analyses.
    • Maintain accurate client records.
    • Update relevant systems and information.
    • Manage lead pipelines effectively.

    Compliance & Governance

    • Adhere to banking regulations and policies.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
    • Follow governance and risk management procedures.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Collaborate with Private Bankers and other business units.
    • Build relationships across the FirstRand Group.
    • Contribute to operational objectives through teamwork.

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Relevant NQF Level 7 Degree in:
      • Finance
      • Economics
      • Accounting

    Professional Certification

    • RE5 Certificate (Regulatory Examination)

    Experience

    • 3–5 years’ experience in:
      • Banking
      • Financial Services
      • Financial Sales
      • Wealth Management
      • Financial Advisory Services

    Additional Requirement

    • Credit record check in accordance with the National Credit Act.
