Job Description
The Drivers and Truck Assistants role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to customers, loading and unloading stock, maintaining vehicles, completing delivery documentation, and ensuring excellent customer service during deliveries.
The position may require long-distance travel and overnight trips, with employees sometimes being away from home for up to a week at a time.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Deliveries
- Deliver goods safely and on time.
- Travel on local and long-haul delivery routes.
- Follow planned delivery schedules.
- Ensure customer deliveries are completed accurately.
Loading & Unloading
- Load stock onto vehicles.
- Unload products at customer locations.
- Handle goods carefully to prevent damage.
Vehicle Management
