Bursary Purpose

Eligibility Requirements
Grade 12 Applicants
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens with a valid South African ID.
- Be completing Grade 12 during 2026.
- Achieve a minimum overall average of 70% in the National Senior Certificate.
- Submit:
- Latest Grade 11 results.
- Current Grade 12 results.
Current Tertiary Students
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled at an accredited South African higher education institution.
- Be studying towards a BCom in Chartered Accountancy.
- Achieve a minimum average of 60% in major subjects.
- Submit a complete academic record, including 2026 results.
Additional Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be willing to complete vacation work at one of VKB’s regional head offices.
- Be willing to relocate after completing their studies if offered employment or required under a work-back agreement.
- Be fluent in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and commitment throughout the application process.
