Job Purpose
Support the analysis and interpretation of financial and operational data within a risk management framework. Develop meaningful risk insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. Bridge the gap between financial performance, business operations, and enterprise risk management. Contribute to scenario analysis, enterprise risk reporting, and governance processes. Assist management in identifying, assessing, and managing strategic and operational risks.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Analysis and Insight Development
- Analyse operational and financial data to identify key risk drivers and emerging trends.
- Support the development of risk insights for management discussions.
- Translate business performance information into structured risk perspectives.
- Link financial and operational information to enterprise risk management considerations.
Scenario Analysis and Strategic Support
- Assist in developing scenario analyses covering:
- Market risks.
- Macroeconomic risks.
- Climate-related risks.
- Operational risks.
- Assess the potential impact of different scenarios on business performance and risk exposure.
- Contribute to forward-looking risk assessments and uncertainty analysis.
- Support strategic risk discussions and governance reporting.
Risk Management Support
- Assist with enterprise risk identification and assessment processes.
- Support the preparation of risk reports for:
- Executive Management.
- Risk Committee.
- Board of Directors.
- Consolidate enterprise-wide risk information.
- Support general Risk Management activities and initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant qualification in one of the following fields:
- BCom Finance.
- BCom Economics.
- BCom Risk Management.
- CIMA (completed or currently in progress).
- Other related qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Strong interest in financial analysis and business performance.
- Basic understanding of risk management principles (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
