Job Overview
QPro Feeds, part of the VKB Group, is looking for a Systems Controller to manage and maintain the integrity of financial and inventory data. The successful candidate will ensure that the Microsoft Navision ERP system is used effectively and that stock movements are accurately recorded and controlled.
The role is suited to an analytical and detail-oriented individual with experience in warehouse and stock control within an FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture daily production information on the ERP system.
- Perform monthly reconciliations, mass reconciliations and inventory valuations.
- Correct item locations, units of measure and related system information.
- Handle general stock queries.
- Identify and report stock movement variances.
- Prepare count sheets for monthly stocktakes.
- Plan, organise and communicate monthly stocktakes.
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices.
- Process stock transfers.
- Generate relevant reports.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products.
- Ensure compliance with system and operational changes.
- Monitor stock returns and “odds” and ensure the required documentation is available.
- Report and follow up on stock discrepancies.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
- A BCom degree or equivalent qualification will be advantageous.
- 2–5 years’ relevant work experience.
- Experience in warehouse and stock control within an FMCG environment.
- Experience with TMS and WMS systems will be beneficial.
- Computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
