Job Overview
Fidelity Services Group is seeking a Cash Centre Supervisor for its Sasolburg Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that cash deposits are processed accurately and in accordance with client agreements, while maintaining a consistent, high-quality counting and verification service.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the Cash Centre where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Count and verify cash accurately.
- Balance and reconcile cash.
- Re-count cash when discrepancies occur.
- Keep daily reports and statistics up to date.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, neat and properly filed.
- Verify that schedules balance with physical cash counts.
- Ensure registers are used and signed daily.
- Handle incident reports as required.
- Resolve client queries professionally and promptly.
- Prioritise customer satisfaction.
- Maintain basic discipline within the Cash Centre.
- Take accountability for the Cash Centre when no manager is present.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Clear criminal record.
- Computer literacy.
- At least 2 years’ cash centre experience or experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Treasury experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Willingness to work additional hours when required.
- Ability to identify, address and resolve operational challenges.
