Job Overview
Nedbank is looking for an experienced Segment Manager: NCB to lead and manage sales, operational performance and risk within the segment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving market share, revenue and profitability, while ensuring excellent client service and alignment with Nedbank’s strategic objectives. The role is suited to an experienced Commercial Banking leader with a strong background in relationship banking, team development, credit and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the financial management function.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
- Advanced Diploma or National First Degree.
- Relevant industry-specific qualification in Finance or Sales is preferred.
Essential Certifications:
- RE5 (FAIS)
- KI (Key Individual)
Experience Requirements
Applicants must have:
- At least 10 years’ experience in Commercial Banking.
- At least 5 years’ leadership experience within Commercial Banking.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing Business Managers and/or Relationship Managers.
- Experience within a Relationship Banking environment.
- Exposure to the Commercial and Agricultural sectors.
- Strong knowledge of commercial banking products, client relationship management and portfolio growth strategies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the local market, including economic conditions, industry trends, competitors and key business networks.
