Purpose of the Role
The purpose of the role is to:
- Lead and manage a team of financial advisors
- Drive sales of financial products and services
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure branch targets and performance goals are achieved
- Support customer satisfaction and service excellence
Main Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
- Communicate branch action plans aligned with company strategy.
- Motivate and guide advisors to achieve business goals.
- Monitor team performance and take corrective action where needed.
- Provide coaching and development support to staff.
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Promote and sell financial products and services.
- Use consultative selling techniques to match client needs with solutions.
- Support upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Implement customer relationship management strategies.
- Act as a point of contact for customer queries and complaints.
- Ensure customer needs are identified and addressed effectively.
Operational Management
- Provide operational support to branch activities.
- Ensure processes follow organisational policies and procedures.
- Track budgets and report variances to senior management.
Customer Focus and Service Delivery
- Strengthen customer relationships through consistent engagement.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support marketing campaigns and product launches.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- NQF Level 7 qualification:
- Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Postgraduate Certificate (or equivalent)
Experience
- Experience in financial services and sales leadership is typically required (implied through responsibilities)
