    Purpose of the Role

    The purpose of the role is to:

    • Lead and manage a team of financial advisors
    • Drive sales of financial products and services
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
    • Ensure branch targets and performance goals are achieved
    • Support customer satisfaction and service excellence

    Main Responsibilities

    Leadership and Team Management

    • Communicate branch action plans aligned with company strategy.
    • Motivate and guide advisors to achieve business goals.
    • Monitor team performance and take corrective action where needed.
    • Provide coaching and development support to staff.

    Sales and Business Development

    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
    • Promote and sell financial products and services.
    • Use consultative selling techniques to match client needs with solutions.
    • Support upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
    • Implement customer relationship management strategies.
    • Act as a point of contact for customer queries and complaints.
    • Ensure customer needs are identified and addressed effectively.

    Operational Management

    • Provide operational support to branch activities.
    • Ensure processes follow organisational policies and procedures.
    • Track budgets and report variances to senior management.

    Customer Focus and Service Delivery

    • Strengthen customer relationships through consistent engagement.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Support marketing campaigns and product launches.

    Minimum Requirements

    Education

    • NQF Level 7 qualification:
      • Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Postgraduate Certificate (or equivalent)

    Experience

    • Experience in financial services and sales leadership is typically required (implied through responsibilities)
