    Job Overview

    Nedbank is seeking a Relationship Manager to build and manage long-term relationships with business clients while delivering tailored banking and financial solutions.

    The successful candidate will identify client needs, acquire new business, manage client portfolios, assess financial risks, and ensure that banking products and services align with customer requirements. This role requires strong relationship management, sales, and business development skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients.
    • Understand clients’ businesses and financial needs to recommend suitable banking solutions.
    • Acquire new business opportunities and grow the client portfolio.
    • Manage client relationships in accordance with credit and risk management principles.
    • Monitor and analyse financial reports to improve portfolio performance.
    • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to deliver client solutions.

    • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and risk management standards.

    Minimum Requirements

    Applicants must have:

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or National Senior Certificate.
    • A valid driver’s licence.
    • Own reliable transport.
    • 2–3 years’ experience in business acquisition (essential).

    Preferred Qualifications

    Preference will be given to candidates with:

    • An NQF Level 5 or higher qualification in Finance, Banking, Business Management, Commerce, or a related field.
    • FAIS Regulatory Examination (RE) Level 1 accreditation.
    • 2–3 years’ experience in relationship management.

    Technical Knowledge

    Applicants should possess knowledge of:

    • Banking products and services.
    • Banking procedures and operations.
