Job Description
The Junior Admin Assistant is responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative functions within the retail branch. The successful candidate will assist with stock administration, invoice processing, goods received vouchers, customer service, and maintaining accurate records while supporting the smooth operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
- Maintain high standards of administrative processes.
- Perform general office and administrative duties.
- Ensure accurate and timely record keeping.
- Support daily branch administration.
Stock and Inventory Management
- Process Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs).
- Complete and process invoices.
- Process stock claims.
- Monitor deviation reports.
- Issue GRVs for incoming stock.
- Assist with stock control and inventory administration.
Customer Service
- Provide professional customer service.
- Assist customers with administrative enquiries.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Risk and Compliance
- Minimise operational risks through accurate administration.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Computer literacy, particularly in:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Strong numerical ability.
- Clear criminal record.
Recommended Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience in the agricultural industry.
