Job Overview
Eduvos is seeking a Facilities Administrator to join its Bloemfontein Campus on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to the Campus Facilities team, ensuring efficient facilities management, health and safety compliance, contractor coordination, and maintenance of campus infrastructure. This role is ideal for an organised professional with strong administrative skills and an interest in facilities and property management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, including data capturing, filing, and record keeping.
- Assist with the day-to-day coordination of campus maintenance activities.
- Act as the Campus Health and Safety Coordinator.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requirements.
- Complete and maintain OHSA reports and documentation.
- Update and monitor equipment inspection schedules and matrices.
- Maintain records of health and safety appointments, certifications, and compliance documents.
- Monitor contractor service delivery, including security, cleaning, and maintenance services.
- Support campus departments during special projects and events such as:
- Open Days
- Student inductions
- Enrolment periods
- Parent evenings
- Assist with the management of the campus cleaning team.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- National Diploma or relevant qualification.
- A qualification in Facilities Management or Property Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Previous experience in property or facilities management will be advantageous.
- Previous Health and Safety training, including:
- Fire Safety
- First Aid
- SHE (Safety, Health and Environment)

- Knowledge of general administrative functions.
- Strong data capturing and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
- Experience using a facilities management system such as Pragma will be advantageous.
