    Main Purpose of the Position

    The Learner Branch Marketer is responsible for promoting and selling the organisation’s products, assisting customers, maintaining stock availability, and ensuring a clean and organised retail environment. The role provides practical exposure to retail operations, customer service, merchandising, and stock management within the agricultural retail sector.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Product Marketing and Sales

    • Promote and market products to customers.
    • Assist customers in selecting suitable products.
    • Achieve agreed sales and marketing targets.
    • Provide accurate product information and recommendations.
    • Build positive relationships with customers.

    2. Customer Service

    • Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
    • Respond to customer enquiries professionally.
    • Assist with customer complaints and queries within the scope of authority.
    • Ensure customers receive prompt and efficient assistance.

    3. Stock Management

    • Monitor stock levels and availability.
    • Assist with stock receiving and stock control procedures.

    4. Merchandising

    • Arrange products according to merchandising standards.

    Minimum Requirements

    Educational Qualification

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification.

    Experience

    • Previous experience in a retail, sales, customer service, agricultural, or related environment will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
