Purpose of the Role
The Demand Coordinator supports Sales and Supply Chain operations by:
- Managing sales data and reporting
- Developing demand forecasts
- Maintaining pricing information
- Providing analytical insights
The role ensures coordination between Sales, Procurement, Production, and Logistics to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Administration & System Support
- Load and update pricing in Microsoft NAV
- Assist internal sales team with:
- Pricing queries
- Customer queries
- Order support
- Perform daily stock checks by SKU
- Maintain customer records and support claims
2. Reporting & Analytics
- Compile sales reports:
- Daily, weekly, monthly
- By region, salesperson, and product
- Track forecast vs actual sales performance
- Prepare:
- Daily flash reports
- Operational and financial reports
- Provide analytical support to Sales Analyst
3. Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Develop forecasts (3, 6, 12 months)
- Create volume forecasts by:
- Product
- Customer
- Mill/site
- Support short-term forecasts (4, 8, 12 weeks)
- Identify and report deviations from forecasts
4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Organise and support forecast meetings
- Prepare and distribute reports and action plans
- Work closely with:
- Sales
- Procurement
- Production
- Logistics teams
5. Supply Chain Support
- Assist with raw material planning
- Support replenishment orders
- Help ensure product availability
6. Commercial & Performance Support
- Track rebates and incentives
- Assist with commission calculations
- Support customer business reviews
- Contribute to business intelligence improvements
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Business / Administration
- Finance
- Supply Chain
- Related field
Experience
- 2–3 years experience in:
- FMCG
- Sales support
- Demand planning
- Data analysis
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft NAV or ERP systems (advantage)
- BI/reporting tools (advantage)
