     Role Purpose

    This role focuses on sales performance, distribution efficiency, and customer relationship management. You’ll act as the link between drivers, customers, and the business, ensuring products are delivered efficiently while growing sales.

     Key Responsibilities

     Distribution & Logistics

    • Ensure deliveries follow optimised routes
    • Monitor truck utilisation and delivery efficiency
    • Verify invoices vs loading lists before dispatch

     Sales Performance

    • Track daily sales figures from driver teams
    • Ensure sales meet targets
    • Identify opportunities to grow market share
    • Analyse competitor activity and suggest improvements

     Order & Stock Control

    • Monitor orders, deliveries, and returns
    • Reduce product returns through action plans
    • Ensure accurate customer data and account setup

     Team Support & Leadership

    • Train and support drivers and van assistants
    • Evaluate performance and improve efficiency
    • Manage route planning and customer visits

     Customer Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
    • Handle complaints and resolve issues
    • Identify and secure new business opportunities
    • Ensure merchandising meets company standards

     Pricing & Market Intelligence

    • Conduct weekly price surveys
    • Monitor pricing strategies and compliance
    • Provide insights on market trends

     Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Diploma/Degree in Sales or Marketing
    • Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with PDP
    • 3–5 years relevant experience
