    Purpose of the Role

    The Beauty Advisor is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by providing professional advice on beauty and skincare products, driving sales, promoting products, maintaining merchandising standards, and creating a positive shopping experience that builds customer loyalty.

    Key Responsibilities

    Customer Service and Product Advice

    • Assist customers in selecting suitable beauty and skincare products.
    • Answer product-related questions.
    • Provide knowledgeable advice based on customer needs.
    • Build strong customer relationships through excellent service.

    Sales and Revenue Generation

    • Achieve monthly sales targets.
    • Promote products through cross-selling and up-selling.
    • Increase sales of private-label and exclusive products.
    • Encourage customer participation in promotions and campaigns.

    Product Knowledge

    • Stay updated on:
      • Beauty trends
      • New products
      • Promotions
      • Events
      • Skincare solutions
    • Provide accurate information to customers.

    Merchandising and Stock Control

    • Ensure shelves and displays are well-stocked.
    • Maintain visual merchandising standards.
    • Assist with stock management and stock counts.
    • Minimise shrinkage and stock losses.

    Housekeeping and Administration

    • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the beauty department.
    • Ensure displays are attractive and compliant with company standards.
    • Complete administrative duties related to sales and stock control.

    Loyalty Programme Promotion

    • Promote the Clicks ClubCard programme.
    • Register new ClubCard members.
    • Assist in achieving store loyalty targets.

    Brand Representation

    • Act as a brand ambassador for Clicks.
    • Promote company values and customer service standards.
    • Help position Clicks as the customer’s preferred beauty and health retailer.

    Minimum Requirements

    Essential

    • Grade 12 (Matric).

    Advantageous

    • Beauty or Skincare qualification.
    • Experience in:
      • Beauty retail
      • Cosmetics sales
      • FMCG
      • Retail sales
      • Customer service
      • Marketing or promotions
