Job Description
This role focuses on delivering an excellent customer experience by understanding client needs and guiding them toward the right banking solutions, especially digital and self-service channels (eChannels).
You will act as a brand ambassador, helping customers transition to modern banking platforms while ensuring all services meet compliance and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Engagement
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide friendly, helpful, and efficient service
- Understand customer needs and offer suitable solutions
- Show empathy and professionalism in all interactions
Digital Banking Support
- Educate customers on eChannels and self-service platforms
- Guide clients to the most appropriate banking channels
- Promote digital adoption and ease of use
Sales & Performance
- Identify sales opportunities and recommend financial products
- Achieve sales targets through tailored solutions
- Analyse customer data to improve service delivery
Compliance & Operations
- Ensure adherence to banking policies and procedures
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- Work within a regulated financial environment
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
Preferred
- NQF Level 5 Certificate in:
- Banking
- Business Administration
- Customer Service (FAIS recognised)
Experience
- 1–3 years in:
- Customer service
- Client support
- Financial services (advantageous)
