     Job Description

    This role focuses on delivering an excellent customer experience by understanding client needs and guiding them toward the right banking solutions, especially digital and self-service channels (eChannels).

    You will act as a brand ambassador, helping customers transition to modern banking platforms while ensuring all services meet compliance and service standards.

     Key Responsibilities

     Customer Service & Engagement

    • Build and maintain strong client relationships
    • Provide friendly, helpful, and efficient service
    • Understand customer needs and offer suitable solutions
    • Show empathy and professionalism in all interactions

     Digital Banking Support

    • Educate customers on eChannels and self-service platforms
    • Guide clients to the most appropriate banking channels
    • Promote digital adoption and ease of use

     Sales & Performance

    • Identify sales opportunities and recommend financial products
    • Achieve sales targets through tailored solutions
    • Analyse customer data to improve service delivery

     Compliance & Operations

    • Ensure adherence to banking policies and procedures
    • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail
    • Work within a regulated financial environment

     Requirements

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4

    Preferred

    • NQF Level 5 Certificate in:
      • Banking
      • Business Administration
      • Customer Service (FAIS recognised)

    Experience

    • 1–3 years in:
      • Customer service
      • Client support
      • Financial services (advantageous)
