Job / Tender Overview
ATNS is inviting suitably qualified service providers to supply and deliver radar motor tools and related maintenance equipment to the ATNS facility at Bram Fischer International Airport in Bloemfontein.
The successful bidder will be responsible for sourcing, packaging, transporting and delivering the required tools and equipment, with all delivery costs included in the quotation.
Scope of Work
The required supply includes a range of industrial, mechanical and maintenance equipment, including:
- Lever-operated wire-rope hoists
- Portable electric wire-rope hoists
- Gate motor wheels
- Eye bolts and D shackles
- High-tensile bolts and square washers
- Lifting chains
- Water pump pliers
- Steel toolboxes
- Chrome vanadium spanner sets
- Imperial and metric socket sets
- Torque wrenches
- Diesel pumps
- 12V oil transfer pumps
- Other specified radar motor maintenance tools
All items must be supplied according to the specifications contained in the official tender documentation.
Key Requirements
Bidders must:
- Be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or an authorised distributor/reseller.
- Provide an OEM authorisation letter where applicable.
- Have a valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN.
- Be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
- Submit valid CIPC company registration documentation.
- Provide a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
- Provide two reference letters confirming successfully completed supply-and-delivery projects within the past five years.
- Complete the prescribed SBD 3.3 pricing schedule in full.
- Price all required line items.
- Include delivery costs in the quotation.
- Provide products covered by the required warranty arrangements.
Skills and Experience
The tender is suited to suppliers with:
- Experience supplying industrial, mechanical or aviation-related tools and equipment.
- Established relationships with reputable manufacturers or OEMs.
- Strong procurement and supply-chain capabilities.
- Capacity to handle secure and time-sensitive deliveries.
- Experience supplying goods to government or large corporate entities.
- Good knowledge of South African public-sector procurement requirements.
- Adequate financial and operational capacity to meet the contract requirements.
- Ability to provide warranty and after-sales support.
Evaluation
The tender will be evaluated using an 80/20 preference point system:
- 80 points: Price
- 20 points: Specific socio-economic goals, including qualifying black-owned and black-woman-owned enterprises.
