Job Purpose
The purpose of this tender is to appoint a professional furniture removal service provider to relocate household goods for SANParks employees.
The service includes packing, loading, transporting, and offloading furniture for two separate staff relocations, ensuring safe and efficient movement within strict timelines.
Scope of Work
1. Furniture Removal Services
The service provider must handle full relocation services including:
- Packing of household goods
- Loading furniture and belongings
- Safe transportation
- Offloading at destination sites
- Proper handling of fragile and valuable items
2. Relocation Assignments
The contract involves two employee relocations:
Relocation 1 (Retirement Move)
- From: Nossob Rest Camp, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
- To: 25 President Steyn Street, Die Rand, Upington
Relocation 2 (Transfer Move)
- From: Mata Mata Rest Camp, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
- To: Golden Gate Highlands National Park, Clarens
3. Combined Transport Requirement
- Both relocations must be executed as a single combined transport operation
- One transport arrangement must be used for efficiency
4. Timeframe
- All services must be completed within 14 days after purchase order issuance

- Full relocation service capability (packing to delivery)
- Suitable transport vehicles for long-distance furniture removal
- Proper packing materials and equipment
- Compliance with transport, safety, and environmental regulations
