Job Overview
Eskom is seeking an Engineer Prof Engineering (Boiler Plant) to support the Engineering Department at Lethabo Power Station. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining and improving the performance of allocated plant, resolving technical issues, managing engineering projects and modifications, and providing specialist technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize the performance of allocated plant.
- Identify, investigate and resolve problematic plant issues.
- Manage plant modifications.
- Manage engineering projects.
- Provide technical advice and engineering assistance.
- Apply root cause analysis and research to address plant performance challenges.
- Ensure engineering activities comply with relevant standards, policies and governance requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification:
- BSc or BEng Degree in Engineering at NQF Level 8 with 480 credits.
Experience:
- Completed a graduate training programme or
- At least 2 years of engineering experience.
Professional Registration:
- Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Candidate Engineer.
