     Job Description

    The Area Process Manager is responsible for ensuring that retail stores operate efficiently, consistently, and in full compliance with company policies and procedures.

    This role focuses on process standardisation, risk management, and operational compliance, ensuring that all stores follow the correct procedures and maintain high operational standards.

     Key Responsibilities

     Store Operations & Compliance

    • Conduct store visits to validate operational processes
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Monitor store-level administrative processes
    • Perform compliance inspections using standardised guidelines

     Process Management

    • Oversee key processes such as:
      • Product receiving
      • Staffing and scheduling
      • Documentation procedures
      • Health & safety compliance
      • Labour laws and regulations
      • Banking and payment systems
    • Ensure proper implementation of new processes in stores

     Risk & Fraud Management

    • Identify and manage operational risks
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
    • Support fraud prevention and control measures

     Continuous Improvement

    • Improve operational efficiency and compliance processes
    • Identify gaps and recommend process enhancements

     Requirements

    Minimum Requirements

    • 5+ years’ retail experience
    • 3–5 years’ experience as an Area Manager or similar role
    • Valid driver’s licence

    Advantageous

    • Degree in Business, Retail, or related field
