Tender Overview
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) is inviting suitable service providers to provide a once-off air-conditioning service at its Bloemfontein office located within Braam Fischer International Airport.
The appointed service provider will be responsible for servicing and maintaining the air-conditioning systems to ensure they operate effectively and comply with the required technical and safety standards.
Scope of Work
The successful service provider will be required to:
- Perform a comprehensive once-off service of the air-conditioning systems at the SAWS Bloemfontein office.
- Inspect the existing air-conditioning equipment.
- Carry out the necessary servicing and maintenance.
- Identify and address issues affecting the performance of the systems.
- Ensure the air-conditioning systems operate effectively after servicing.
- Complete the work in accordance with the specifications contained in the official RFQ documentation.
- Comply with all applicable technical, safety and maintenance requirements.
- Provide the necessary skilled personnel, equipment and resources to complete the work.
Requirements
Bidders should meet the following requirements:
- CIDB contractor grading of 1 ME or higher.
- Proven experience in air-conditioning servicing and maintenance.
- Relevant technical expertise in HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
- Qualified and suitably experienced personnel.
- Ability to comply with applicable technical standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to complete the once-off service within the required timeframe.
- Ability to comply with all conditions and specifications contained in the official tender documentation.
Compulsory Briefing Meeting
A compulsory clarification meeting will be held with representatives of the South African Weather Service.
