Job Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Health Consultant specialising in Vitamins and Supplements for its Goldfields Mall store in Welkom. The successful candidate will promote and sell Dis-Chem Health Focus products while providing customers with excellent service and knowledgeable product advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and advise customers while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Promote and sell vitamins, supplements and other Health Focus products.
- Assist with back shopping when required.
- Keep Health Focus merchandise fully stocked and neatly faced up.
- Report price discrepancies to management.
- Maintain the required Health Department store layout.
- Ensure promotional and broadsheet items are properly displayed and available.
- Implement promotional displays and merchandising materials.
- Work towards monthly team, brand and vendor sales targets.
- Stay informed about new products and product ranges.
- Complete Health Department administrative processes, including returns, stock control and monitoring stock levels.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- At least 6 months’ sales experience in a Vitamins / Health environment.
- Strong command of English.
- Computer literate, particularly MS Office.
- Sound numerical skills.
- Willingness and ability to work retail hours.
Advantageous:
- BSc Biomedicine, BSc Biotechnology or another relevant health-focused qualification.
- Retail sales experience.
- Experience in the health industry, particularly vitamins, supplements or health foods.
- Fluency in a second language commonly spoken in the area.
