Qualifications and Experience Requirements
CUT seeks candidates who meet the following academic and professional criteria:
Minimum Qualification & Experience
- A B-Tech or an equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering Design.
Desired Qualification & Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Development, Toolmaking, and Rapid Prototyping.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering processes related to industrial applications.
These requirements ensure that candidates have both the technical expertise and practical exposure needed to excel in the role.
Compensation and Employment Details
The minimum salary scale for this position is R 408,959 per annum. However, since CUT applies an internal parity model, remuneration will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant years of experience. This ensures a fair salary aligned with the principle of equal pay for work of equal value.
