Tender Overview
The Free State Department of Health invites suitably qualified contractors to submit quotations for the electrical assessment, inspection, and testing of the electrical installations at Jacobsdal Clinic. The objective is to determine compliance with applicable electrical safety regulations and issue a valid Certificate of Compliance (CoC) where all requirements have been met.
Scope of Work
The successful contractor will be required to:
- Conduct a comprehensive electrical assessment of the clinic.
- Perform inspection and testing of all electrical installations.
- Verify compliance with applicable electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Identify defects, non-compliance, or safety risks.
- Prepare a detailed inspection and assessment report.
- Issue a valid Certificate of Compliance (CoC) upon successful completion of the assessment and confirmation of compliance.
Minimum Requirements
Interested bidders must:
- Have a CIDB Contractor Grading of 2 EB or higher.
- Demonstrate experience in electrical inspection and testing projects.
- Employ qualified and certified electrical professionals.
- Be capable of producing detailed technical reports and compliance documentation.
Technical Requirements
The contractor must:
- Conduct thorough inspection and testing of the clinic’s electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety legislation and standards.
- Document all findings and recommendations.
- Issue a valid Certificate of Compliance where the installation meets regulatory requirements.
Evaluation Criteria
Tenders will be evaluated based on:
