Econo Foods is looking for a reliable and hardworking Service Assistant to join our Logistics team in Bloemfontein – East End. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and general upkeep of the workplace, company vehicles, and garden areas. This role plays an essential part in maintaining a safe, pleasant, and organized working environment.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness across the facility, including restrooms, offices, and common areas

Perform outdoor gardening tasks such as lawn mowing, plant watering, and hedge trimming

Wash and clean company vehicles regularly, maintaining hygiene standards

Remove waste, manage stretch wrap, and restock cleaning supplies
-
Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE when required
-
Contribute to team goals and maintain a safe, organized work environment
Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
-
2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG Retail industry
Skills and Competencies:

Strong attention to detail and time management

Friendly, helpful, and confident team player

Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
