The Business Development Principal (BDP) is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for Vodacom by targeting new clients and growing strategic under-indexed accounts. Responsibilities:

Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating, and closing deals

Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients

Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets

Identify new accounts and expand business within existing accounts

Develop and implement a comprehensive channel and partner strategy

Report on sales forecasts, performance metrics, and strategic account plans

Perform regular sales analysis and revenue assurance

Drive new business initiatives across Vodacom’s product and service offerings
Qualifications:
-
A 3-year Sales, Technical or Business Diploma/Degree (SAQA Accredited) – Essential

Postgraduate Degree – Advantageous

Minimum 5 years’ experience in telecommunications, ICT, or technology sales

Strong experience in portfolio management and solution selling
-
Ability to build strong customer relationships and influence at the C-level
-
Valid driver’s license required
