Responsibilities:

Complete the learner basic pharmacist assistant course under SAPC guidelines
-
Assist in the sale of Schedule 1 medicines under pharmacist supervision
-
Support in the preparation, unpacking, merchandising, and cleaning of stock
-
Aid in interpreting prescriptions and ensure accurate medication handling
-
Help manage stock levels, medicine expiry tracking, and shelf organization
-
Communicate with patients regarding script follow-ups and service calls
-
Assist with chronic, HIV, AIDS, and oncology medication authorization
-
Uphold professional and ethical standards as set by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
Qualifications:

Grade 12 / Matric with:
-
Pure Mathematics: Minimum 50%
-
Life Science and/or Physical Science: Minimum 50%

Overall average: Minimum 50%

Must pass a proficiency test qualifying for SAPC learner assistant registration

South African citizen with clear criminal and credit record
