The Director: Regulatory Systems and Stakeholder Management will be responsible for strengthening business regulatory processes, building sustainable stakeholder relationships, and driving investment facilitation initiatives in the province. The role focuses on reducing red tape, fast-tracking catalytic projects, and ensuring seamless collaboration with both private and public sector stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to reduce government red tape for the implementation of investment project plans.

Build and strengthen stakeholder relations for the department and the province.

Facilitate and promote the Investment Value Chain for provincial projects.

Oversee the implementation of private sector catalytic projects.

Drive departmental programmes arising from Executive Council Resolutions, Budget Bote Injunctions, and engagements with the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) and other public entities.

Contribute to the development of departmental strategic documents.

Manage human, financial, and asset resources of the Directorate.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Economics or Business Management (SAQA-recognised).

Minimum of 5 years of experience at middle/senior managerial level.

At least 7 years of experience in coordinating sector stakeholders and managing regulatory environments.

Proven experience in managing catalytic projects and investment facilitation.

Strong understanding of financial implications related to regulatory compliance.

Computer literacy and valid driver’s license.
-
Registration with relevant professional bodies and knowledge of project management will be an added advantage.
