Project Objective
The purpose of this project is to design, supply, install, and commission a solar-powered lighting system around the Lethabo Power Station sewage maturation pond to improve:
- Night-time visibility
- Operational safety
- Security
- Environmental compliance
Scope of Work
The successful contractor will be responsible for:
- Conducting a site survey
- Designing an approved lighting layout
- Supplying solar lighting equipment
- Installing and commissioning the lighting system
- Providing:
- As-built drawings
- Certificates of compliance
- Civil, electrical, and mechanical documentation
The lighting system must:
- Operate independently
- Automatically switch on/off
- Be maintenance-free
- Account for overhead power lines
