The Deputy Director: Industrial Development will lead and coordinate initiatives that promote industrialisation, develop special economic zones (SEZs), and strengthen industrial parks. Responsibilities:

Drive long-term industrial and economic development strategies.

Develop new special economic zones (SEZs), industrial regions, and parks, while strengthening existing ones.

Facilitate foreign direct and domestic investment by creating a competitive industrial environment.

Formulate and implement policies and frameworks for the management and operation of SEZs.

Strengthen value chain linkages across strategic industries.

Manage human, financial, and asset resources within the Sub-directorate.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Public Management (with majors in Public Finance or Public Sector Economics).

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Economic Development, with a focus on industrialisation, SEZs, and industrial parks.

At least 3 years’ experience at junior management level.

Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industrial policy frameworks.

Strong computer literacy and project management skills.

Valid driver’s license.
