Objective:
Engage a qualified service provider to deliver horticulture maintenance services at Lethabo Power Station over a 5-year period, ensuring well-maintained landscaping and functional horticultural areas.
Scope of Work
- Full horticulture maintenance, including:
- Planting, pruning, fertilizing
- Pest and weed control
- Lawn and grass management
- General upkeep of gardens and landscaped areas
- Implementation of maintenance schedules, monitoring, and reporting to Eskom.
- Ensuring all horticultural areas meet Eskom’s quality and aesthetic standards.
Technical Requirements
- Skilled horticultural personnel with relevant experience and qualifications.
- Use of appropriate horticultural equipment and materials.
- Adherence to Eskom’s safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations relevant to industrial/power station environments.
Skills & Competence Required
- Proven expertise in horticulture and landscape management.
- Ability to plan, execute, and monitor horticultural tasks effectively.
- Strong understanding of environmental and safety standards for horticulture.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Experience working in industrial or power station environments is an advantage.
