JOB OVERVIEW
Job Title: Specialist Writer (Post Level 8)

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement content strategies.

Write and edit high-impact content.

Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Manage projects and conceptualise integrated communication campaigns.

Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform content and strategy.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree, BTech, or Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7) in Journalism, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.
-
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
-
Extensive writing and content research experience in the higher education sector.
-
Proven ability to produce high-quality, impactful content across varied topics.
-
Experience in speechwriting and institutional communications.
-
Familiarity with digital content creation and multimedia production.
-
Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint; basic project management and photography skills are a plus.
